My friend Melanie’s apartment burned down this morning. She’s starting from scratch, and needs help. If you don’t know her, you should, cause she’s extremely intelligent and literate (disappearing traits these days) and she’s got a great sense of humor and she’s neat and pretty and all the other stuff you should look for in a friend. We set up a blog for her where we’ve got updates on her needs—which, first and foremost is a place to stay and some dough—and will be continually updated as we develop a plan to help her get back on her feet.
Please dig deep and come up with what you can and pass the word. What better way to celebrate Chrismahanukwanzica than to help out a friend in distress?
