Just wanted to drop a note to say thanks.
I watched the Denver Broncos defense thoroughly dismantle the Oakland Raider offense last night on Sunday Night Football. And while the pleasure I derived from watching Art Shell’s “disciplined” team completely self-destruct (kind of like watching a Tom Cruise interview. Or the last 30-or-so games of a Cubs season. Or any episode of Flavor of Love.) was unparalleled, I have to say, thanks SO much for deciding NOT to bring Bocephus with the rest of the previous MNF crew over from ABC.
Given the choice between watching his hairy, flare-nostriled visage pound out a few bars of his “Are You Ready for Some Football” song for another year; or soaking my eyes in lemon juice, I’d have chosen the latter.
Thank you for sparing me that fate. Now that you brought Pink on board, I definitely have a reason to be “Waiting All Day For Sunday Night,” even if it’s a Browns/Lions game.
