So, I’ve been listening to an inordinate amount of powerpop lately. I’ve been a fan of the Apples In Stereo for years, and fell in love with the Eels when I first heard “Mr. E’s Beautiful Blues” on the Road Trip soundtrack. Dressy Bessy’s another fave.
I have another new favorite to add to the list: The Pozers. This tune is so catchy I can’t stop humming it. I swear. It’s got just a hint of glam in it, and, like well-used cilantro, it’s the perfect touch…
