I just spent the last hour surfing a site called Multiple Sclerosis Sucks from a link off of the Broad’s website. The advent of the Internet is a marvelous thing, you know. It at once allows enough access to completely gain or obliterate all sense of perspective. It really is a miasma of differences all at once. In this case, I see my silly whining about the mild discomfort I’m going through paired against the hell an MS sufferer endures daily—it’s like taking this weirdness on my face, and then having it all over my body and in my brain for a lifetime, and it’s permanent. And suddenly I feel like the man who had no gloves running into the man who had no hands.
